Who is it for?
Bicycle leasing is available to employers and employees under the Joint Committee on Health Care Facilities and Services (PC 330), including: Hospitals, forensic psychiatric centers, rehabilitation centers, home nursing, and more*.
How does it work?
The budget allocable to bicycle leasing consists of the full or partial conversion of the gross year-end bonus. Note that converting the gross year-end bonus to the alternative of a bicycle lease may not result in any cost savings.
You heard that right, employees cannot use their gross pay for bicycle leasing. But that's actually a win, because the year-end bonus is taxed less than regular pay, so you get extra benefits.
